Old-fashioned room decor could really use modernization!!! Limited electrical outlets made charging devices a hassle. The entrance layout through the courtyard felt inconvenient, and the thin walls allowed for disturbing noise from neighbors!!!

Our room was very nice. Spacious, clean, nicely furnished, and comfortable.Breakfast was as expected (continental style) and served in our room. The bed was large and extra linen was available in the cupboard. We had tea and coffee making facilities throughout our stay. There was also a simple-to-use security safe on which you could change the code to make it easy to remember. There was also a lift.
Because it was right in the middle of Florence, we had a bit of trouble getting to the hotel because the 'one-way' streets were a bit confusing. There is no parking at the hotel, and you cannot park outside, (other than to drop off, if there is space) but there is a garage 20 meters along the road who will store your car. We were charged 24 Euro per night. None of this reflects badly on the hotel as such, but it is a point to consider.

Central heating, a work desk, and TV inside the guest room were handy. The bathroom was clean with a bidet. The location was particularly good and excellent, close to a train station and easy to find. There was lots of cafes and a restaurant. We had a very pleasant stay at this old-fashioned hotel.

Wow! Everything was right about the Alloro b&B. Location-very short walk from the train station with many fabulous sights and restaurants close. Room-large & attractive with a fresco on the ceiling. Service-check in was easy & breakfast was brought to our room at a pre-arranged time. Breakfast- warm croissants, fresh breads, wonderful yogurt & hot drink of your choice. We would highly recommend the Alloro b&b from both a quality & value perspective.

Oh, where do I start? The single room was tiny and had no available electric sockets, not great for a modern guest like myself. I also couldn't help but notice this pathetic excuse for a TV. And what's with only one key for two people, so rude! I woudl've loved a complimentary upgrade, but here I am, stuck with disappointment.

My stay with my family at Alloro B&B was excellent. We find the rooms very clean and elegant, the staff - bith Christian and his dad are very friendly and accomodating. They even showed us where to shop thus avoiding the tourist traps and recommended us to a few very good restaurants near by. We certainly will be back and would recommend anyone.

very convenient for short stays because of its location(walking distance from station and some of the monuments) Set in an old building and some attractive features retained.
